My name is Poe Dameron. I'm a friend of Kaytoo's. He said that he got the trackers from you, but - I need your help. I'll make whatever trade you want.
He's a robot, I'm sure he's made plenty of backups. They're better about it than humans are.
It'll probably be something that can store data. I doubt he'd fit on a CD, so maybe a USB drive, or an external hard drive. We need to get you people on cloud computing if you're going to stand a chance against this next time.
Do some digging, and I can probably boot him back up.
We found a note he left for himself - he's definitely made a back up, as recently as yesterday morning. Which is great. He just also hid it and didn't write down where it was, for security reasons. Which is - not as great. But I'm working on finding it.
Look - I am happy to do the grunt and foot work for you, if you think you can fix him once I do. But if you've got any idea that can help in the meantime, I'm listening.
He said you were [The text accidentally gets sent here, while he was erasing the sentence. Damn. Can't go back now. So after another few seconds, the next part appears.]
He said you were some kind of god. Could merge magic and technology.
Good. So he's got a backup. I'm not surprised. Most robots are better about backing up than us scrubs.
And yes, I can. I can get him back up and running. It's just a matter of getting the backup to work. Otherwise...we're probably not going to get the old K2 back.
I'll talk to him about alternative backups, once we get him going again.

Uh - is this Woden?

Kaytoo had his memory wiped.
Do you have any idea how to restore it?

[ He's a droid. He HAS to have backups.
And Woden can't lose his friend... ]

If he made a back-up, he didn't tell anyone.
[But that... doesn't necessarily mean he didn't. There's a pause, as Poe runs upstairs to Kay's room.]
I can't see why he wouldn't, though, not after all the security he's been going through for the rest of us. So he must have them somewhere.
But his room looks like it went through hyperspace without any shields and then got dumped into a trash compactor.

Unless you want me to come help.
